A 24-year-old woman from Nalathaduka died after consuming poison in Kasaragod, Kerala. Her family said Jaseela was driven to suicide by false gold theft accusation, public humiliation and mental harassment by neighbours and police. She recorded a video claiming innocence before taking poison. Police found no evidence against her earlier. An unnatural death case has been filed. Investigation is on.
