Keralam renames all old-age homes as 'Snehalayam''

Kerala Social Justice Minister VE Abdul Gafoor ordered that all old-age homes run by the government and private managements in the state be renamed “Snehalayam” (a home of love). He directed that "old-age home" term be replaced with "Snehalayam" on signboards and in official records. "Every senior citizen deserves not a shelter, but a Snehalayam," Gafoor said.
