Kerala's famed boat race was recreated at the Professor's Lake by members of the Malayalee community in Canada. V Muraleedharan, MoS for External Affairs, tweeted a video of the race that was part of celebrations of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate 75 years of India's Independence. Several teams competed for the trophy during the boat race in Canada.
