The Silent Valley National Park is a majestic paradise filled with rainforests and cliffs, located right on the Kundali hills in Kerala. As a part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, over 400 species of moths and 200 species of butterflies have been catalogued here and it can also be explored during monsoon. You do need a permit to enter this park.
