Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah gave a compensation of ₹2 lakh to a woman whose husband was injured in the Kerur communal violence. However, the woman threw back the money at the Congress leader's car. The woman, identified as Mohammad Haneef's wife Rajma, said, "Today they'll give compensation and go away...My husband can't work for another year because of the assault."
