Keto diet raises bad cholesterol, heart issues

A new study says a low-carb, high-fat eating keto diet- popular among athletes and celebrities to lose weight, can raise cholesterol and reduce beneficial gut bacteria. Researchers from Bath University said eating a lot of fat daily may include unhealthy choices like butter, coconut oil, and animal fat, all of which cause a significant spike in bad cholesterol levels.
