Sapphire Foods, the operator of KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in India, posted a third-quarter loss over a one-time charge due to the four new labour codes. The company reported an incremental impact of over ₹8 crore related to employee benefit obligations under "Exceptional item". Its expenses increased 8.4% year-on-year to ₹813 crore, broadly in line with revenue growth.
