Non-profit educational platform which provides lectures through YouTube, Khan Academy on Thursday launched a Hindi portal for India. The portal will have learning material for students in grades 5-8 with about 2,000 videos of mathematic lessons at the time of launch. Founded in 2006 by MIT alumnus Salman Khan, the platform offers free learning resources for educators and students.
