Congress chief and Karnataka MP Mallikarjun Kharge criticised Budget, saying he was expecting the state will get the most funds. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar asked Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who represents Karnataka in Rajya Sabha, to respond. "'Mataji bolne mein toh expert hain' (she is expert in speaking)," Kharge said, while Dhankhar replied, "She is like your daughter, not mother."
