Former Australia batter Usman Khawaja's first-class career has come to an end after Queensland failed to reach the Sheffield Shield 2025-26 final. Khawaja played his final game against Western Australia from March 5 to March 8. Khawaja missed the game against Tasmania on account of the birth of his child. Khawaja had announced his retirement from Tests in January 2026.
