Congress leader Mumtaz Patel, daughter of late Ahmed Patel, an ex-Rajya Sabha MP, said in an interview that there is no internal democracy in the party. Following her remarks, Congress leader Pawan Khera criticised her, stating, "If there was no democracy in the Congress, she wouldn't have been able to say anything against the party."
