Kiran Khabad, son of Gujarat minister Bachubhai Khabad, was re-arrested shortly after being granted bail in a ₹71 crore MGNREGA scam. The Dahod police acted on a fresh FIR linked to incomplete rural development works in Lavaria village. His earlier arrest involved fake documents and unexecuted government contracts between 2021 and 2024.
