BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's wife, Medha, has filed a defamation suit of ₹100 crore against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut in Bombay High Court. Kirit has said that they don't want the defamation money, adding that it should instead be used for social work. Notably, Raut had accused the duo of being involved in the alleged Mira-Bhayandar's public toilets scam.
