The Knight Riders Group, the owner of the IPL franchise KKR, is reportedly keen to own a team in the upcoming women's IPL tournament. According to a Sportskeeda report, the franchise is likely to be Kolkata-based. A source told Sportskeeda that the Knight Riders Group is keen on working with the Cricket Association of Bengal to "groom and pick players".
