KKR release Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman after BCCI's instruction
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have released Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman after being instructed to do the same by the BCCI. This comes amid boycott calls in India after attacks on religious minorities in Bangladesh. KKR had bought the 30-year-old pacer for ₹9.2 crore in the IPL 2026 mini auction.
