Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairperson of the Aditya Birla Group and Chancellor of BITS Pilani, has announced a ₹2,200-crore plan to upgrade and expand the 61-year-old institution. The group will fund a new AI campus in Andhra Pradesh's Amaravati and upgrade the infrastructure at the existing campuses, said Birla. The group will launch a new edtech platform BITS Pilani Digital.
