Knew NATO won't be there: Trump as allies reject Hormuz plan

Reacting to US allies refusing to send warships to escort tankers through Strait of Hormuz, US President Donald Trump stated that he has always said NATO won't be there when it's time to defend US. "Spent trillions on them...we're gonna have to start thinking more wisely," he added. UK, Japan, Australia, Canada and Germany have refused to send warships.
