Kochi resident Harimitra, 51, who came from the US to care for his ailing mother Rukmini Amma, 83, died days after her death. She passed away last Saturday, and her funeral was delayed for family abroad. Harimitra fell sick and died on Wednesday, and both were cremated together, leaving the family in deep shock.
