Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar has been appointed as ADG & IGP, West Bengal Criminal Investigation Department (CID), days after the CBI questioned him in the Saradha and Rose Valley Ponzi scams. Anuj Sharma has been appointed as the new Kolkata Police Commissioner. Earlier, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee sat on a dharna to oppose the CBI's questioning of Kumar.
