Kollam man held for assaulting schoolgirls on scooter

Kollam Rural police arrested Lijo Joseph for allegedly sexually assaulting schoolgirls while riding a blue Maestro scooter. Police said he targeted girls walking alone and covered his number plate to evade detection. The DANSAF team scanned over 400 CCTV recordings and checked Maestro scooters across districts before tracking him down based on descriptions provided by some students.
