Komodo dragons have teeth coated in iron, reveals new study

Komodo dragons, the world's largest species of lizard, have iron-tipped teeth that help them to rip their prey apart, according to new study led by researchers from King's College London. Komodo dragons prey on a range of animals from rodents to water buffalo and kill using their sharp teeth and venomous bite. Humans have also been killed by the lizards.
