Korigad (also Koraigad) Fort is among the rare historical structures whose date of construction is unknown. The fort, about 20 km from Lonavala in Maharashtra, is also unique because its fortification built to defend against attacks is intact. With twin lakes, temples, caves, and waterfalls, it is a trekkers' paradise nestled in the lap of nature.
