Kotak Securities mistakenly transferred ₹40 crore to F&O trader Gajanan Rajguru, which he invested and earned ₹1.75-crore profit in 20 minutes, even before Kotak rectified its error. Kotak then transferred the profit Gajanan made back to their account. Gajanan's plea to keep the profits was rejected twice, but was eventually accepted by the Appellate Arbitral Tribunal.
