Kota-based Allen Career Institute announced the acquisition of Peak XV (formerly Sequoia Capital India)-backed edtech platform Doubtnut for an undisclosed sum. Through the deal, which is reportedly worth ₹83 crore, Allen will be able to cross-sell its curriculum and academic offerings to Gurugram-based Doubtnut's student base. This is Allen's first-ever acquisition of an Indian edtech startup.
