Kerala's Kozhikode and Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior are among the 55 new cities to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). While Kozhikode was named a creative city for literature, Gwalior was named as a creative city for music. "These cities get acknowledged and recognised for their strong commitment to harnessing culture and creativity," Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy said.
