KPMG has been sued as the auditor of the collapsed Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), along with underwriters including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley, in an investor lawsuit. SVB executives have also been named as defendants. As per the lawsuit, the defendants "misrepresented the strength of the company's balance sheet, liquidity, and position in the market".
