Crypto exchange Kraken has agreed to end its crypto staking program in the US and pay $30-million fine as part of a settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The regulator had charged the company for not registering the program. Most staking providers don't provide customers proper disclosures about how they'd protect a user's staked assets, the SEC noted.
