Anil Kumar Chaudhary, Independent Director at KRBL, the company behind India Gate basmati rice, has resigned, citing corporate governance concerns. He flagged issues including withheld information, irregular board meeting records, misuse of CSR funds, and arbitrary financial decisions. Chaudhary also criticised undue interference in board affairs and inadequate deliberation on key company matters.
