Co-founder and former Co-chairman of Infosys, Senapathy (Kris) Gopalakrishnan, has been appointed as the first Chairperson of the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH). In its August monetary policy, the RBI had announced that it will set up the RBIH to promote innovation across the financial sector. Gopalakrishnan will lead a governing council that will manage and guide the hub.
