Karnataka is facing growing water concerns as the KRS dam has only 8.747 TMC of usable water amid the Cauvery water row. The CWRC's water release order has raised concerns over drinking water supply and irrigation. Meanwhile, Harangi dam is releasing 1,825 cusecs despite Kodagu recording a sharp rainfall deficit this monsoon.
