KSRTC has launched a new bus service connecting Belagur and Sringeri, bringing relief to women, students, pilgrims, and government employees. The service was inaugurated at the N.R. Pura bus stand with a special pooja and celebrations. Local leaders said the route would improve connectivity for nearby villages and benefit women travelling under the Shakti scheme.
