KTLA news anchor Mark Mester has been dismissed after going on air to target the channel over his friend and ex-colleague Lynette Romero's firing. "I...want to say sorry to Lynette...because Lynette, I love you so much...You didn't deserve what happened to you," said Mester on air. Romero was let go after 24 years over a disagreement on her anchor shift.
