Madhya Pradesh's 22-year-old batsman Aryaman Birla, son of industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla, has taken an indefinite break from cricket to cope with "severe anxiety". Birla, who was released by RR ahead of IPL auction, said, "I've felt trapped. I've pushed myself through all the distress so far, but now I feel the need to put my mental health...above all else."
