Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla is planning to infuse a token sum of less than ₹1,000 crore into Vodafone Idea, reports said. "Birla will put in...money...while Vodafone is unlikely to pump in more money (from UK group)," an official told The Economic Times. "Much of the funds will have to come in from external sources," they added.
