Ramesh Kunhikannan, the 60-year-old Managing Director of Kaynes Technology, has become a billionaire with a net worth of $1.1 billion after his Mysuru-based company supplied electronic systems used in ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 mission, Forbes reported. Kaynes' shares had already trebled since its IPO in November 2022. They gained another 40% after Kaynes' role in the moon mission became public.
