Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant group on Sunday said it is withdrawing from Turkey to Iraq as part of a disarmament process coordinated with the government. The move follows an earlier decision to end its armed struggle after a call from jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan. PKK said the withdrawal aims to lay the foundations of "free, democratic and brotherly life".
