Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant order worth up to ₹2,500 crore from the Department of Atomic Energy to build the LIGO India Observatory in Maharashtra. The project involves high-precision civil construction and installation of ultra-high vacuum infrastructure. It will be executed within 48 months under India’s flagship Mega Science initiative.
