A tribal woman of West Bengal, who was labelled as ex-PM Jawaharlal Nehru’s wife since 1959 and punished for it, has sought Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's help, reports stated. Budhni Manjhiyan (then 17) was handed over a garland by Nehru during the inauguration of a dam. Her community later ostracised her, stating she had got married to non-tribal Nehru.
