The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code reduced the number of days required to become eligible for paid leave from 240 days to 180 days in a calendar year. This means a worker now becomes eligible for leave much earlier in the year. No employee shall be required to work for more than 8 hours in a day.
