The Ladakh administration has suspended winter tourism activities, including the Chadar trek and the snow leopard sighting expedition, till further orders amid a surge in COVID-19 cases. The Chadar trek is a winter trail in Leh's Zanskar area. The Leh District Magistrate warned of punitive action if the directions are violated.
