Lake in South America houses floating man-made islands

Lake Titicaca in South America is host to floating man-made islands inhabited by the Uros people. The Uros have been living on the islands, made of the buoyant 'totora' reed, for hundreds of years. The tribe, which pre-dates the Incas, regularly adds reeds to the surfaces of the islands as they disintegrate from below.
