The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) is facing obstacles in acquiring 155 acres of land crucial for the new Belagavi-Dharwad railway line via Kittur. Despite acquiring 322 out of 600 required acres from Dharwad to Hirebagewadi, resistance from farmers in Konduskoppa, Desur, and other villages in Belagavi district has stalled progress.
