Land prices in Andhra Pradesh's capital Amaravati may shoot up by 40-50% in the coming 1-2 months after Union Budget allocated ₹15,000 crore to develop the city, Moneycontrol reported citing experts. Local brokers have said that queries for land parcels worth around ₹2 crore-₹3 crore per acre have almost doubled to ₹7 crore/acre in some areas, the report added.
