Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) on Wednesday cleared about 35,000 square meters of land worth ₹70 crore in an anti-encroachment drive in Sunpura. "Five JCBs were operated for about one-and-a-half hours," an official said. "An elimination squad has been formed to stop illegal occupation...GNIDA has deployed retired Army personnel...at its own expense," GNIDA CEO said.
