A coeliac drug, larazotide, shows promise in treating MIS-C, a severe post-Covid syndrome in children, according to a study in Science Translational Medicine. In a small trial, children receiving larazotide recovered faster with reduced symptoms. Researchers say it may also help treat long Covid, pending results from ongoing trials.
