The largest performing rock band consists of 953 people and the record was achieved by a Chinese band in June 2016, according to the Guinness World Records. The band from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy, which included 349 singers and 154 guitarists, was led by one of the first Chinese rock artists Cui Jian.
