Largest-ever ancient crocodile found in Sahara

Paleontologists in Tunisia discovered a fossil of the world's largest sea-dwelling crocodile. "It's almost the size of a bus," researchers said. The species, now named Machimosaurus Rex, is believed to be over 30 feet long and weighed three tonnes. This reportedly challenges the 'mass extinction theory' that claims all marine reptiles died at the end of the Jurassic Period.
