Larry Page tried to sell Google for $1 million in 1999

Search giant Google's Co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin were willing to sell Google for around $1 million to internet portal Excite in 1999, but Excite rejected the offer. Notably, Google's parent company Alphabet is currently worth $649.5 billion, making it one of the most valuable companies in the world. Google was incorporated 19 years ago on 4th September, 1998.
