Larry Tesler, the computer scientist behind 'cut, copy and paste', dies at 74

American computer scientist Larry Tesler who worked at Apple, Amazon, Yahoo and Xerox and created computerized cut, copy and paste, passed away aged 74. Tesler, who was recruited by late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and worked at Apple for 17 years, was a major contributor to key Macintosh software. Born in New York, Tesler studied computer science at Stanford University.
