The "late 2020s" began from September 1, announced Encyclopedia Britannica. According to a common way of dividing a decade into three equal parts of 40 months, early 2020s lasted from January 1, 2020 to April 30, 2023, while mid-2020s began on May 1, 2023 and ended on August 31, 2026. Late 2020s will conclude on December 31, 2029.
